I find inspiration for my sculpture and carvings from my environment: A twig, an old shell, or a weathered piece of wood can become the inspiration for a new piece.
Working from a piece of glass formed in the glass blowing shop or by kiln-casting, I then carve the texture by hand using pneumatic grinding tools and a diamond wheel lathe.
My approach is eco-conscious, often relying on found objects and/or recycled materials.
